At boostU, the financial foundations are in place. Now that we're scaling up, it's time to professionalise that base. As Finance & HR Officer, you take full ownership of the internal accounting for our two companies. You take a critical look at what's there, optimise where you can, and set up a reporting structure that genuinely helps the management team make decisions.
This isn't an administrative role where you simply process what comes in. You think along, take initiative, and build processes that stick.
What you'll actually be doing
Financial management & accounting
- You handle the full internal accounting from A to Z for two companies.
- You process invoices, prepare payments, and strictly monitor accounts receivable and payable.
- You take care of VAT returns, interim balance sheets, year-end closings, and tax filings.
- You manage intercompany transactions and the costs of our software licences (SaaS).
Reporting & analysis
- You translate the accounting into monthly management reports (P&L and cash flow forecast).
- You analyse budget versus actuals and provide the necessary insights to the management team.
- You contribute to the preparation of the annual budget.
HR administration & payroll
You manage the monthly payroll in collaboration with the social secretariat.
Process optimisation
Because this is a new role, you have both the opportunity and the responsibility to define and document missing procedures yourself. You look at existing ways of working with fresh eyes.
